AFRICRYPT: A CAN O'CRYPTO
To launch Africrypt Cryptocurrency Investments, we were tasked to create a campaign that will land Africrypt as "the easiest access into the world of cryptocurrency" and "get Africrypt into mainstream media to get consumers talking".
THE BIG IDEA:
Arguably the most accessible product in the world is a can of coke, which is why we have decided to use it as a metaphor for accessibility.
A “Can O'Crypto” is a physical manifestation of the virtual cryptocurrency. By buying a can you are essentially buying the actual currency which can be redeemed on the site/app.
By doing this stunt we are demonstrating to the public that Africrypt offers the easiest access into the world of cryptocurrency, allowing those who might not know how or where to buy crypto, a chance to enter into this virtual and somewhat complex world.
We conceptualised a PR-driven ATL campaign that starts with a DM, followed by an activation and ATL assets.
