#DalaYourColour (Wear your colour with pride)
Following a very dull, restricted and disheartening 2020, Jive Cooldrinks – the most colourful soda in Cape Town - decided to hit reset and inspire us to make fun, happy summer memories.
We kicked the campaign off with the most controversial activation: Strip the historic Bo-Kaap, the most colourful neighbourhood in South Africa, white and then re-introduce colour to celebrate the Bo-Kaap way: as a symbol of self-expression and freedom. The campaign essentially turned into an award-winning tribute to a community that will never be stripped of its colour again.
We created QR codes on OOH billboards outside the Bo-Kaap Museum, which enabled passers-by to listen to the real stories behind the colourful walls. Listen here.
We also created happy moments with the rest of South Africa on social media.
